Worked on the team responsible for Windows 8 RT Power Engine Plug-in driver for the APQ8064 snapdragon processor.

Responsible for triaging, testing, and patching issues found in my team's driver for the APQ8064 chipset.

Implemented a synchronization tool that kept our bug tracking, project tracking, and other proprietary systems in sync. Allowed over 100 engineers and managers to better keep track of project progress.

High Performance Computing Researcher

January 2011 to May 2012

Worked under Dr. Thomas Hauser, Director of Research Computing, to design distributed and parallel solutions to run on the new supercomputer at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Janus.

Optimized fluid models for a parallel file system and using GPUs to accelerate the processing of fluid image data.

Added support to the PCGNS library for file sizes above 2GB.

Mechanical Engineer Researcher

Summer 2010

Worked in a nanomaterials lab under Professor Scott Bunch and PH.D candidate Luda Wang investigating properties of graphene. Through the measurement of graphene's resonance frequency under various circumstances we were able to demonstrate the viability of porous grapheme films to perform gas and chemical separation.
